Citywide Code of Conduct for Use of Public City Facilities

The City of Carlsbad has rules in place to ensure that public city facilities remain safe and welcoming for the public and city staff and create an environment where city operations can be conducted effectively and efficiently.

This code of conduct, implemented by city ordinance applies to the following facilities, as well as the adjacent planted areas and courtyards open to the public:

All city library locations
William D. Cannon Art Gallery
Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium
All city pools and community centers
Carlsbad Senior Center
Heritage Hall
All public-serving counter areas and client meeting rooms, such as those at City Hall, the Faraday Administration Center and the Harding Center
